About us

Kingoyo Books is an independent publisher, founded in 2022 by Nicklas Hållén. Nicklas was first inspired to start a publishing venture during his research into emerging works of African literature. During this research, he met numerous talented authors, many of whom were in similar circumstances. Despite their abilities, they were struggling to release their work through commercial publishers and reach a wider market. 


Kingoyo books was created so that their voices can be heard.
